摘要
习语作为一个国家的文化积淀,在人们的日常生活与交流过程中具有十分重要的作用,然而不同国家的生活环境、传统习俗、宗教信仰及历史典故等方面存在着极大的差异,因此给习语翻译带来了许多困难。本文以英汉习语为例,从文化视角中对英汉习语翻译进行分析和研究,以期为习语翻译工作提供参考和依据。
As the cultural accumulation of a country,idioms play the important roles in people’s daily life and communication process. However,great differences exist in living environments,traditional customs,religious beliefs and historical stories in different countries. Thus,the translation of idioms is faced with many difficulties. This paper analyzes the translation between English and Chinese idioms in cultural perspective with a view to provide favorable suggestions and references to the translation of idioms.
