摘要
《夜莺之爱》是当代英国著名女剧作家汀布莱克·韦滕贝克的经典剧作。在该剧中,韦滕贝克通过"元戏剧"的叙事手法,不仅从艺术层面实现了对亚里士多德式悲剧艺术的理性反思,更是表现出了对当代社会现实的独特关照,在反思当代暴力政治的同时,也成为对"9·11"事件式的21世纪恐怖主义的预言。
Love of the Nightingale, a representative work of the contemporary female playwright Timberlake Wertenbaker, is both a rational re-thinking on Aristotelian tragedy and a reflection on contemporary society through meta-theatrical narrative writing. Meanwhile, the play also examines modern violence politics and predicts that the 21 st century will remain haunted by terrorism issues represented by 911.
