摘要
商务英语教学质量立足于语言教学质量,而语言教学质量的基石是语法能力构建的时效性、完整性和体系性。传统的点状式语法点教学方式已不能满足商务英语的发展要求。本文论述以构式概念将英语语法语式进行范畴化的教学设想,实现对语法点的统一描写和梳理,呈现英语语法的层级性、套叠性、能产性、理据性的本质特征,用范畴归纳达到语法节俭的效果,实现语法教学的时效性、完整性和体系性,为商务英语教学打下坚实的语言基础。
The quality of Business English teaching is based on the quality of language teaching, which is essentially related to the timely, comprehensive and systematic construction of Grammar competence. The traditional grammar teaching, based on scattering and separate grammar elements, misses the previous requirement and cannot give expected support to Business English teaching in growth. In this paper, categorization of the English grammatical forms under the Construction Theory is argued as a unified description of English grammar and clear presentation of its essential features such as hierarchy, productivity, motivation and employment of forms within forms. The categorization of English grammatical forms and expressions, due to its parsimony, can effectively and timely effect comprehensive and systematic English competence, thus paving the way for overall Business English teaching.
