Traffic congestion treatment has recently triggered wide public concern.Structural unbalance of the main roads,side roads and branch roads,existence of dead-end roads and blocked roads impaired the circulation of transportation,and apparently,it is one of the causes of traffic jam.At the theory-discussing meeting,there were proposals to make plan for road maintenance,construction and improvement through batches of implementation methods. 'The whole roadway line ofthe Second Ring Road will be opened to traffic in 2017.At the same time,the city and districts have determined that dead-end roads and bottleneck roads are the focus of the renovation work,connecting them with the trunk roads,entrance and exit of the Second Ring Road viaduct and the main roads out of town.' Wang Wentao said at the thirteenth plenary meeting of the 10 th CPC Jinan Municipal Committee,who also pointed out the city will formulate a five-year plan for urban transportation.In 2017,an integrated transport planning of crisscrossed road network will be formed,therefore,Jinan will ushers in an era of integrated transportation,together with the first metro line to open at the end of the same year.
