摘要
DNA甲基化是表观遗传学的重要内容之一,可在不改变DNA序列的情况下,调控基因表达甚至改变个体表型。目前,DNA甲基化的研究已延伸到家畜杂种优势利用、克隆优化和分子育种等领域,并开始探索DNA甲基化在家畜MAS育种的具体作用。文章以三种最重要的家畜为切入点,着重探讨了DNA甲基化在家畜育种中的应用以及对未来发展方向的展望。
DNA methylation is one important content of epigenetics,which can regulate gene expression and even change the individual phenotype without altering the DNA sequence.At present,the research of DNA methylation has been extended to the fields of animal heterosis utilization,clone optimization and molecular breeding,and the specific role of DNA methylation in MAS breeding of domestic animals was explored.In this paper,the application of DNA methylation in livestock breeding was elaborated,especially that of the three most important domestic animals,and the prospect of DNA methylation in livestock breeding was also discussed.
