摘要
通过对湖南某理工类院校100名英语专业本科生在大学两年英语学习过程中的负动机现象进行跟踪调查发现理工类院校英语专业本科生负动机现象较为普遍。数据分析结果显示,学生的英语学习动机都受到教师因素、教材因素、课程因素、学习环境因素和学生自身因素的影响。其中,教师因素、学生因素和学习环境成为主要负动机影响因素。随着学习阶段的变化,英语专业本科生的负动机程度逐渐下降,影响负动机的学生因素比重加大,学习环境因素也有所增加,但教师因素、课程因素和教材因素所占的比重减小。
Investigating 100 English undergraduates by longitudinal study during their two years ＇ English learning,the study indicates that demotivation is a common phenomenon among English majors in the institute of science and technology. The data shows that the motivation of English learning is influenced by the following factors： teachers,text books,courses,learning environment and students themselves. Furthermore,demotivation intensity is gradually weakened from the first year of college life to the second year of it. The proportion of the influence factors changes with the different phases.
