摘要
低覆盖度治沙理论是一项覆盖度在15％～25％的新型治沙模式。从该理论在防风治沙、节约生态用水、加快土壤植被修复、提高生物生产力、实现固沙林可持续发展等方面进行分析，并提出适用于半干旱、干旱与极端干旱区的低覆盖度治沙模式设计。
Desertification control with low coverage vegetation is a new mode of sand control with the coverage at 15% ~25%. Based on the analysis on wind prevention and sand control, saving ecological water, promoting the recovery of soil and vegetation, improving the biological productivity, and realizing the sustainable development of sand -fixing forest, the mode of desertification control with low coverage vegetation is put forward suitable to the semi -arid, arid and extremely arid area.
