摘要
上海依靠大规模建设城市空间的时代已经结束,城市更新成为上海城市可持续发展的主要方式。上海的城市更新表现出对多元文化的接纳,特殊的政治地缘造就了上海经济、文化和社会环境,成为影响上海城市文化的重要因素。建筑师是建筑设计的核心,建筑师的社会生态环境对于建筑的发展至关重要,直接影响建筑的品质和价值观。不受文化约束的"自由"设计,最直接地导致抽象地改造城市的状态,而上海在多元文化环境下的境外建筑师的广泛参与和建筑实验为城市更新带来了新的理念、技术和设计方法,激发了文化在碰撞和冲突过程中的创新性元素,充分发挥了文化重塑城市空间的功能。
The era that Shanghai developed with large-scale construction of urban space ended. Urban regeneration becomes the principal aim of Shanghai urban sustainable development. Shanghai urban regeneration shows the acceptance of multiculturalism, in which special political geography has created unique economic, cultural and social environment of the city, becoming essential factors affecting the identity of Shanghai. Architects are the core of architectural design. Architects＇ social ecological environment is vital for building development, and directly affects the quality and values. So called ＂free＂ design unbounded by culture, almost directly leads to urban transformation in an abstract way, while in Shanghai under the perspective of multi-culture, the foreign architectural practices and design experiments have introduced new ideas, technologies and design methods, and further evoke the creativity from cultural collision and confliction to achieve their full potential, in which culture plays an active role in the reconstruction of urban space.
