摘要
民国前期,大学教学普遍使用外文教科书或中文讲义,这不利于中国高等教育的普及和发展。1931年,蔡元培提出大学教科书"中国化",得到了社会的普遍响应。1933年,由科学社团、商务印书馆和大学联合主导的"大学丛书"开始出版,将大学教科书的"中国化"推向高潮。大学教科书的"中国化"不仅实现了文字与名词的中文化,还在"中国化"的深层次进行了尝试,对中国高等教育的普及和科学的发展都起了推动作用。
Foreign language textbooks and Chinese notes were generally used to university teaching in the early Republic of China, it wasn' t conducive to the popularization and development of Chinese higher education. Cai Yuanpei put forward university textbooks " Nationalization" and obtained the universal response of the society in 1931. Combined with scientific societies and universities, Commercial Press published the " University Series" in 1933, it promoted the university textbooks "Nationalization" to a climax. The university textbooks " Nationalization" not only achieved using Chinese words and terms, but also made an attempt in deep level " Nationalization", which promoted the popularization of higher education and the development of science in China.
