摘要
本文对三维地球场景中的地平线剔除算法进行了改进,提出了针对一般场景对象的包围球距离算法和针对地形块的代理点距离角度算法。实验结果表明,改进的地平线剔除算法能有效减少参与绘制的地形块数量,并且不依赖特殊的硬件特性,具有较好的通用性。
Horizon culling algorithms in 3D earth scenes are modified and improved in this paper, and a bounding sphere distance algorithm for normal scene objects and a point of presence (POP) distance-angle algorithm for terrain blocks are put for- ward in this paper. The experiment result shows that the modified and improved algorithms can efficiently reduce the number of terrain blocks in mapping, and they can be applied widely without reliance on special hardware characteristics.
