摘要
详细介绍美国俄勒冈大学图书馆学科服务的组织管理、学科馆员的素质、岗位职责,分析其学科服务的内容和特点。并对我国高校图书馆学科服务实践提出4点建议:图书馆领导应彰显图书馆员身份本色,提高图书馆在大学社区的服务声誉;建立稳定有效的保障机制;建立学科联盟,开展合作服务;注重细节服务,进行人文关怀。
This paper gives a brief overview of the subject service at the University of Oregon Libraries in terms of its organization and structure, qualifications and responsibilities of the subject librarians. It puts forth some recommendations for changes in subject service provided at the academic libraries in China in the following areas: enhancing the library service and promoting the presence of the library on campuses by encouraging library administrators to be more actively involved not only as leaders, but also as librarians; building a mechanism to ensure a more effective and stable system; encouraging more collaboration across different disciplines (subject areas) among the subject specialists; and creating a more focused and detailed service model with humanistic concern.
