摘要
脂肪的蓄积特点和程度对具有休眠习性的动物来说,无论在其繁殖期还是冬眠期,都具有至关重要的作用。为掌握非休眠期蜡皮蜥(Leiolepis reevesii)脂肪蓄积的变化规律,探索蜡皮蜥不同性别、身体不同部位脂肪蓄积特点,本研究于2015年4~11月,在海南文昌昌洒每月采集蜡皮蜥20条个体(10♀10(?)),应用索氏脂肪抽提和分析方法,对蜡皮蜥不同性别及不同身体部位脂肪蓄积程度进行检测。结果表明:蜡皮蜥头体部脂肪含量在整个非休眠期基本不发生变化,但不同性别间却存在显著差异(P=0.016)。同样的,雌雄间尾部的脂肪含量存在极显著差异(P〈0.001),且变化模式不尽相同。在繁殖季(5~7月),仅雌性蜡皮蜥尾部的脂肪含量出现下降,而在繁殖季节后期(8~11月),雌雄个体尾部的脂肪含量都显著上升。此外,蜡皮蜥尾部和头体部的脂肪含量差异极显著(P〈0.001),且尾部的脂肪含量和水分含量呈显著负相关(P〈0.001),而头体部的脂肪含量和水分含量却无相关性(P=0.06)。在非休眠期,蜡皮蜥的脂肪和水分含量均呈现较大幅度的变化,分别为0.67%~35.27%和41.11%~82.54%。此外,除了雌性蜡皮蜥尾部脂肪含量与其头长和尾长呈正相关(P〈0.001)外,身体不同部位脂肪含量与不同性别长度无关。
The pattern and characteristics of fat accumulation are important for species that hibernate,both during the breeding and hibernation seasons.We collected 20 butterfly lizards(Leiolepis reevesii) per month(10 males and 10 females) from April to November 2015 in Changsa Town,Wenchang City,Hainan Province to study the variation of fat accumulation by gender and by body part.We used the soxhlet method to extract fat and analyze data.Fat accumulations in the head and body differed by gender(P=0.016)although the values were constant across the whole non-hibernation season for each individual.Fat accumulation in tails differed by gender(P〈0.001).During the breeding season(May to July),tail fat declined only in females.After breeding season(August to November),both males and females exhibited fat gain in tails.Fat accumulation differed by head,body and tail(P〈0.001).Weight of tail fat was negatively correlated with tail water content(P〈0.001)but head and body fat were unrelated to water content.The fat and water content changed dramatically during the non- hibernation period,ranging from 0.67%to 35.27%for fat and 41.11%to 82.54%for water.Moreover,except for the positive correlation found between tail fat and body length in females(P〈0.001),no other correlation was found between fat accumulation and lengths of body parts(P=0.06).
