摘要
关于不可靠叙述者的理论由韦恩·布思在其著作《小说修辞学》首次确立,一经提出便在学术界引起巨大反响。然而对于如何界定叙述者的可靠与否,学界却始终存在很大分歧。在对众多观点的归纳中可以看出,界定不可靠叙述者的关键在于建立一个不会引起争议的参考系。这个参考系既不能完全由作者判定也不能完全由读者确定,而应该从作品本身去判断。
Since the theory of unreliable narration was initially established by Wayne Booth in his The Rhetoric of Fiction, it has caused great reverberation in academic world. However, there is always dispute on how to define if narration is reliable. Based on the summary of different points of view, this paper suggests the critical issue on how to define unreliable narration is to create an indisputable reference system. The system should be decided by the work itself, neither by the writer nor the readers.
