摘要
随着英语语言在世界各国的广泛运用,英语句法现象也成为国内外较多学者研究的重要内容。以独立主格结构为例,其在传统语法中更强调将主格代词、零次代词作为主语,并配合非限定分句的使用,使较多伴随关系、让步关系或时间关系表达出来。但关于文体分布、历时分布等,传统语法所表现的主观性色彩极为明显,说明传统语法描写的弊病所在。在此背景下便将系统功能语言学引入,结合语料库,完成独立主格结构的研究过程。
The role of English as lingua franca in the world has brought syntactic studies into the horizon of many scholars at home and abroad,and nominative absolute is just one of these subjects which have aroused considerable academic interest. In traditional grammar,what is emphasized for the structure is that the position of subject is occupied either by a nominative pronoun or by a zero pronoun,and it is often present together with an infinite clause to show relationships such as accompaniment,concession or time sequence.But when it comes to stylistic or diachronic distribution,traditional approaches have shown a strong subjectivity in its interpretations,which indicates one of the disadvantages traditional grammar has in its description of language. To solve these problems,the paper introduced the theories of systemic functional grammar into the research on the structure with the help of corpus studies.
