Objective : To investigate the efficacy of humanized nursing in the treatment of patients with primary hypertension. Methods: 150 cases of primary hypertension were divided into routine nursing group( 75 cases) and humanized nursing group( 75 cases) according to the random number table method, the former was given routine nursing model in the course of treatment, whlie the latter received humanized nursing model. Results: 1 No statistical differences in diastolic blood pressure( DBP) and systolic blood pressure( SBP) were found between the 2 groups( P〉0. 05) before treatment, while the DBP and SBP in humanized nursing group were statistically lower than those in routine nursing group after treatment( P〈0. 05). 2 The treatment compliance( TC) scores in humanized nursing group were statistically lower than those in routine nursing group( P〈0. 05). 3 There were no statistical differences in self- management ability( SMA) scores and quality of life( QOF) scores between the 2 groups( P〉0. 05) before treatment, while the SMA scores and QOF scores in humanized nursing group were statistically higher than those in routine nursing group after treatment( P〈0. 05). Conclusion: The humanistic nursing in the treatment of patients with primary hypertension shows good efficacy, such as controlling blood pressure, enhancing TC, improving SMA and QOL etc.
