摘要
美学在当前中国国家战略层面受到高规格和高强度重视,有着比之单纯的学科专业缘由更具根本性意义的深层缘由。尽管对美学学科的怀疑依然存在,但从美学在现代中国的需要及其演变看,美学已然成为中国人在急剧变化的现代世界寻觅到的使身体感官需要与心灵需要之间臻于平衡和融合的通道。现代中国美学的基本问题之一在于,依托现代性知识型的生成而产生的具象而精致的身体审美感性如何与逐渐被挖空和风干的中国古典心性传统重新接通。现代性身体感性文化必须和只能与现代性心性文化相匹配。蔡元培的"美育代宗教"之说的疏忽在于,多满足于身体感性的现代性转化而少关注心性传统的现代性转化。在当前心体群己之间的分离加剧成为全社会难题的情形下,美学需继续处理中国人的身体感觉与心灵鉴赏如何完美融合的问题。美学在当代可以成为一门身感心赏之学,即是关于身体感觉与心灵鉴赏的融合的学科。由此可以获得美学存在的当代理由:通过探究身体感觉与心灵鉴赏的协调而实现心灵的宁静。
Great importance is currently attached to Aesthetics at the level of national strategy in China, not only because of the purpose of discipline construction, but also because of some deep reasons which have fundamental significance. From the perspective of the demand for Aesthetics and its evolution in modern China, Aesthetics has been an effective way for Chinese to maintain balance between spiritual needs and physical needs in today＇s fast-changing world, although there is still some skepticism about Aesthetics. One of the basic issues of modern Chinese Aesthetics is that how to reconnect the physical aesthetic perception whose production was determined by the modem episteme and the classical Chinese tradition of mind-nature. The culture of modem physical perception must match with the modem mind- nature culture. The insufficiency of Cai Yuanpei＇s theory of replacing religion by aesthetic education is that the modem transformation of physical perception was overemphasized while the modem transformation of mind-nature tradition got less attention. Aesthetics must continue to deal with the issue that how to perfectly fuse Chinese physical sensation and soul appreciation, under the circumstances that the aggravating separation between mind, body, collective and individual has been a social problem. Aesthetics could become the study of physical sensation and soul appreciation in contemporary society, thus achieving the peace of mind by harmonizing physical sensation and soul appreciation could be the reason for the existence of Aesthetics at the present time.
