摘要
《红楼梦》插图作为图像研究的重要范本,在流传过程中渐显出其批评的属性。在双清仙馆刻本等绣像系统中,插图作者借助于人物绣像的选取、编排顺序以及像赞、花赞、钤印等全面展现了其对文本的理解以及对人物的主观评价,彰显了图像批评在插图艺术中的功能。虽然说插图艺术在版本流传过程中,并未认可是一种批评模式,但是某种程度上显现出批评倾向,此种倾向借助于特殊的语法规则和程序更好地推动了文本的接受。这就是图像批评属性的意义所在。
Theillustrations intheDream of Red Mansions, an important subject of itlustrationstudy, reveals the basic attributes of its criticism in the course of the spreading process. In the Shuangqing Koon edition the illustrated systems and other means of character illustrations all effectively reinforced the art of images illustration criticism, although not a recognized form of criticism, but showing a tendency of it, which better promoted the acceptance of the textby means of a special syntax rules and procedures. In fact, this is whatthe image criticismis all about.
