摘要
在汉英词语中,十二生肖动物词语的联想意义不仅内涵丰富、变化复杂,而且受社会、历史、文化、心理等多种因素的影响,具有跨文化差异的显著特点。翻译十二生肖动物词语的联想意义,需要在理解和比对汉英词语联想意义的基础上,认识文化造成的联想隔阂,有针对性地选择翻译方法,实现跨文化交流通畅的翻译目的。
In Chinese-English word,the associative meaning for Chinese zodiac animal words are not only full of rich connotations and complex changes,but also has distinctive features of cross-cultural differences affected by the society,history,culture,psychology and so on. In the process of translating associative meaning for Chinese zodiac animal words,we need to know the associative misunderstanding caused by culture on the basis of understanding and comparing the Chinese-English associative meaning,and select targeted translation methods to achieve the purpose of unobstructed intercultural communication.
