摘要
1998年起,高考英语(上海卷)中增加了单句翻译(中译英)部分。近二十年来,翻译部分不仅在题量和分值方面历经多次调整,其构念效度也在不断完善。本文以翻译能力的一般构念为基础,通过分析2016年翻译试题以及部分考生的作答情况,详细阐述单句翻译的内容依托及其测量构念,展现此题型考查翻译能力的独特价值,并由此探讨高考英语(上海卷)翻译部分的命题趋势。
Since 1998,sentence translation（ Chinese into English） has been a part of the National Matriculation English Test（ Shanghai）. In the recent two decades,item numbers and section weighting of the translation part have undergone several rounds of adjustments with a special view to enhancing its construct validity. This paper,with a review on the translation construct as a point of departure,observes the sentence translation tests of 2016 and some testtakers＇ responses,so as to illustrate how and why the tests were designed in this way. After presenting the special value of translation tests,this paper also discusses the trend of translation test design in NMET（ Shanghai）.
