摘要
运用超越对数生产函数的随机前沿分析(SFA)方法,分析了城市规模分布与资源配置效率的关系。结果显示:首位城市生产集中度与资源配置效率之间存在显著的倒U型关系,即存在使资源配置效率达到最优的城市规模分布,城市规模过于集中或过于分散分布均不利于资源配置效率的提高;在不同时间段,最优首位城市生产集中度存在显著差异,且呈现逐步下降的趋势。据此认为中国城市化问题的实质是如何构建充分发挥规模经济效应和资源配置效率的城市规模体系。
Using stochastic frontier analysis(SFA),this essay analyzes the relation between the size and distribution of cities and the efficiency of resource allocation.The results show that there is a significant inverted U type of relationship between the production concentration degree of primate city and the efficiency of resource allocation,that is to say,it exists the optimal size and distribution of cities to achieve the optimal efficiency of the resources allocation,and over or under-concentration can be very costly in terms of the efficiency of resource allocation;There is a significant difference of the production concentration degree of primate city in different periods,and a gradual downward trend.This essay proposes that excessive attention to the level or speed of the urbanization may not get the point of China's urbanization,and the essence of China's urbanization is how to construct a city structural system that can make full use of the effect of the economy scale and the efficiency of the resource allocation.
