摘要
清末以来,我国公立大学校长的职责经历了重大的变化。通过对不同历史阶段界定大学校长职责的规范性文件进行考察,我们发现此一变化过程也正是我国高等教育模式从学习日本,到学习欧美、苏联,并最终走向自主探索的艰难历程。教育模式的变化、大学与大学校长自身主体性的成长,以及政府对大学功能定位的增多等因素,都成为导致大学校长职责变化的内在基本动因。
The responsibility of presidents of Chinese public universities has experienced important changes since the end of the Qing dynasty.These changes are actually a hard progress,in which China＇s higher educational mode changed from learning from Japan to learning from Europe,America and the Soviet Union,and finally turned to autonomous exploration.All the changes can be traced in the official documents defining the responsibility of presidents in different periods.The change of education mode,the growth of initiative of universities and presidents,and the increase of function orientation of universities set by the government are main internal factors for the development of the responsibility of presidents.
