摘要
哲孟雄第七代国王祖普南杰求娶西藏贵族拉摩之女奔琼玛,本是两地之间联姻传统的延续,然而由于奔琼玛执意嫁给医生桑布巴而引发了争议,一时成为各方关注的焦点。当时的驻藏大臣介入此事进行调查,各相关方上呈的汇报文书,勾勒出事件的来龙去脉。由于双方都是从政治角度看待联姻行为,因此,驻藏大臣、噶厦政府首脑等迁就祖普南杰的要求,而漠视奔琼玛的意愿。将这一事件置于历代哲孟雄王与西藏联姻谱系的背景之下,可使读者能够从一个特殊的角度认识哲孟雄与清代西藏之间的密切关系。
Tsugpu Namgyal, the 7th king of Sikkim sought to marry Bang Khyungma, the daughter of Tibetan noble Rameau, which was the continuation of the traditional marriage between the two places. However, the girl was determined to marry doctor Sangpoba, which aroused controversy and became the focus of attention between the two sides. Even the Resident Minister of the Qing government was involved in this issue and started to investigate it. The reports of each related party described the sequences of the event, and because both sides regarded it as a political marriage, therefore, the Resident Minister and the head of Gasha government yielded to the king by ignoring the girl Is wish. Considering this event under the background of marriages between Sikkim kings and Tibet can help readers understand the close relationship between Sikkim and Tibet in the Qing Dynasty from a special perspective.
