Conservation of Energy in the Barotropic Quasi-Geostrophic Model Under Orographic Effects

摘要 基于正压大气模式,研究了地形对大气能量的影响.首先,利用尺度分析方法,将正压模式方程组无量纲化.然后,选定一个合适的小参数,再用小参数展开,依次得到无量纲的正压模式方程组的零级和一级近似方程.获得了地形效应下的正压准地转位涡方程.最后通过新的位涡方程推导了能量守恒的结论.并进一步从能量的角度分析和解释了地形对西风的影响. Based on the barotropic atmospheric model, the impact of the terrain on the atmos- pheric energy was studied. Firstly, the equations of the barotropic model were nondimensional- ized for scale analysis. Next, an appropriate small parameter was selected and the small param- eter expansion method was used to build successively the Oth- and lst-level approximate equa- tions for the nondimensionalized barotropic model. Under the orographic effects, the barotropic quasi-geostrophic potential vorticity equations were obtained from which the conservation of en- ergy was deduced. Fmrthermore, the orographic effects on the westwind were analyzed and ex- plained from the view of energy.
