摘要
应用植物化学物(phytochemicals)调控Nrf2/ARE通路成为预防和治疗氧化应激相关疾病的靶点。在十字花科植物中存在的天然强抗氧化剂莱菔硫烷在体内和体外具有广泛的神经保护作用,近期研究表明,其对Nrf2/ARE通路的调控作用介导其神经保护作用。笔者就莱菔硫烷通过调控Nrf2/ARE通路的神经保护作用研究进展进行综述。
Nrf2/ARE pathway has become an attractive target using phytochemicals for the prevention and treatment of oxidative stress-related diseases including neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease( AD), and Parkinson's disease(PD). Among phytochemicals, sulforaphane (SFN) has demonstrated neuroprotective effects in several in vitro and in vivo studies. In particular, evidence suggests that beneficial effects of SFN could be mainly ascribed to its peculiar ability to activate the Nrf2/ARE pathway. There-fore, SFN appears to be a promising compound with neuroproteetive properties that may play an important role in preventing neurode-generation. This contribution focuses on Nrf2/ARE-mediated signaling pathways, particularly in relation to neuroprotective effects of sulforaphane.
