摘要
介绍了南非烤烟育种机构、主要改良性状、新品种选育方法、新品种区域试验和推广利用,指出我国烤烟品种选育与推广工作相比于南非,存在着生产上种植品种比较单一,优质多抗杂交种数量较少,尤其是抗多种病害的优良纯系或定型品种严重缺乏等问题,提出我国烤烟育种今后应根据产区发展要求,有针对性地开发区域性特色品种,同时注重兼抗多种病害的优良亲本材料的培育,以充分利用杂交种。
The status of flue-cured tobacco breeding and promotion in South Africa was introduced, including tobacco breeding sector, main target traits, breeding research methods, new varieties regional test, application of flue-cured tobacco varieties, and so on. Compared with the South African, in China cultivated varieties is relatively simple on flue-cured tobacco production, and the number of high quality and multi resistant hybrids is limited, especially the lack of multi-diseases-resistant and excellent pure line or type varieties is serious. Therefore, regional characteristic varieties should be targeted to develop according to the development requirements of flue-cured tobacco production areas in China. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the development of excellent and multi resistant parent materials to make full use of hybrids.
