摘要
菲律宾是东南亚地区受恩庇主义影响深远的典型国家,经历了传统道义恩庇向现代政治恩庇的转变,而菲华社会的发展深受菲律宾主流社会变化和发展的影响,经历了被动卷入到主动融入菲律宾恩庇关系网络的过程。本文以菲律宾历史发展脉络为线索,整合归纳了学术界对不同时期菲律宾华侨华人参与恩庇关系网络的研究,为深入探讨菲律宾恩庇主义与华侨华人群体的关系奠定基础。
Clientelism has profound and long-term influence on the Philippines history. Its history has experi- enced the process from traditional moral patronage system to modem political patronage system. The Chinese soci- ety in the Philippines is deeply affected by the mainstream social change and development. They went through the process from passive involvement to positively integrate into it. Through sorting out the development skeleton of the Clientelism history in the Philippines, this paper makes an attempt to sum up the academic study about the Fil- ipino Chinese society＇s participation into the network of patron-client relationship over different periods, so to make the foundation for making further discussion about the relationship between the Filipino clientelism and the overseas Chinese communities.
