摘要
为验证中文的N400字体效应,探索字体和使用频率在语义提取上的交互作用,以大学生为被试,采用事件相关电位(ERP)技术和真假词判断任务,操控双字词的字体和频率,记录被试对真假双字词的判断反应和ERP,结果表明:行楷体比宋体引发更负的N400波幅,且在低频真词上更显著,另外在真词条件下,频率和字体在N400上存在交互作用.认为字形在语义通达中起到重要作用,支持中文形-义加工说和交互激活模型,不支持多阶段激活模型.
Two e form processing xp th eriments were to explore whether semantic processing of Chinese words was sensitive to rough investigating N400 font effect and font's joint effects with word frequency. Event related brain potentials were recorded while undergraduate participants made "word" or "nonword" responses to two-character compound words and pseudo-words during a lexical decision task. The results indicated that, larger negative-going ERPs to stimuli in Xing Kai Ti font compared with more intact Song Ti font in an N400 window. This effect occurred regardless of whether the stimuli were authentic words or pseudo-words, and of low-or high-frequency words, although to a large extent for authentic words and the low frequency condition accordingly. These N400-like font effect and interactive joint effect of font and frequency are interpreted as reflecting the sensitivity of Chinese semantic processing to form processing. In conclusion, without phonologic mediation the form processing and the semantic processing overlap in time 1 possibly because they are cascaded, and the results provide evidence for IAM and form'to-meaning hypothesis but against the multistage models.
