摘要
明长城是中华民族的历史财富,其主要作用是军事防御。在明长城发挥其军事防御功能的过程中,逐渐形成了以军事活动为中心的聚落遗址。明长城区域军事聚落形成过程主要分为三个阶段,军事聚落集中于长城以南、战事多发的地域。军事聚落的分布与双方战争形势以及具体军事活动有关。
The Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty is a historical treasure of Chinese nation. It is main role was military defense and a military settlement was formed in the course of defending. Based on the combination of literature and archaeological survey, the formation process about regional military settlement of Ming Great Wall can be divided into three stages. And it is concluded that the main focus about spatial distribution charac- teristics of military settlements are fighting region and south of Great Wall .
