摘要
世界上的语言有成千上万种，但总的可以为两类：声调语言和语调语言，故此以汉语和英语为例论述了两者这间的区别，指出声调语言和语调语言是汉，英两个语音系统主要的区别之一，因而中国人在学习英语时，要注意这个区别。
There are thousands of languages in the world. Generally speaking, they are divided into two kinds, tone language and intonation language. The paper, taking Chinese and English for instance, describes the differences between them and points out that tone language and intonation language are one of the main differences between Chinese and English. At the end of the paper, the author thinks that this kind of difference should be given attention.
