摘要 Iron is an essential element for most living organisms including plants,playing a vital role in key biological processes such as respiration and photosynthesis.However,as a heavy metal,excess iron is also toxic for plants.Therefore,the iron concentration in plant cells is generally tightly regulated through coordinated mechanisms.
