In this paper, the price trend of domestic and imported iron ore market, the domestic iron ore supply and demand situation, the change of imported source countries and operation situation of iron mine enterprises at home and abroad in 2015 are introduced in details. Under the conditions of the iron ore price slump and iron ore resource oversupply, suppliers with high cost and low quality iron ore would gradually withdraw from the market. Affected by the oversupply of resources and cutting production capacity and reducing stocks in steel industry, iron ore demand from domestic steel industry would show downward trend.
