摘要
4MAT过程教学法是笔者在长期教学实践中基于4MAT学习风格和过程教学法的要素设计的,本文以便条写作为例对其在英语写作教学中的应用及教学效果进行介绍。与常规教学法相比,该法可以有效提高学生的写作成绩及学习英语写作的动机。
4MAT Process Approach has been designed by the author in her long--term teaching practice on the basis of 4MAT learning style and some elements of Process Approach to teach English Writing. It is applicable to all kinds of writing such as paragraph, descriptive essay, narrative essay, expository essay, argumentative essay, summary and practical writing. After taking note--taking as an example to illustrate the application and efficiency of 4MAT Process Approach to the teaching of English writing, the paper points out that compared with traditional teaching method, 4MAT Process Approach is better in improving students＇ writing achievement and their motivation in learning English writing. Hereby, 4MAT Process Approach is very practical and applicable to the teaching of English writing at all levels.
