摘要
皖西曾被冠以"歌舞之乡"的美称,最早文字记载在《吕氏春秋》中。特殊的地理环境造就了皖西淮河流域包括山歌、号子、小调、秧歌、舞歌、风俗歌曲、儿童歌曲等在内的丰富多彩、数量庞大、品种多样的民歌种类。与此同时,皖西淮河流域的地貌复杂多样,所辖之境由山地、丘陵和平原三种地貌覆盖,皖西民歌随着不同的环境、气候、语言等文化因素的差异,表现出多样性和明显的差异性特征。
