摘要
一般认为,被崇祯帝冤杀的名将袁崇焕在清朝乾隆年间被正式平反。一部分人据此判断袁崇焕为清朝所伪造的民族英雄,然而,乾隆皇帝嘉奖其后代的行为,并不意味着当时社会改变了对袁崇焕的评价,也谈不上对其"平反"和"翻案"。从整体上看,对袁崇焕的历史评价,在明清两朝一直存有争议。其形象进一步抬升伴随着清末民初随着排满革命思潮的兴起,而并非清朝初年的刻意塑造所致。
It is a common sense that General Yuan Chonghuan was executed by Emperor Chong Zhen in Ming dynasty,and was re-evaluated by Emperor Qianlong. Based on the truth that Yuan was re-evaluated in Qing dynasty,some argue that Yuan was not a hero of Ming dynasty. However,it is argued here that it is not the case that Yuan was re-evaluated at that time since Qianlong rewarded his descendents. Generally speaking,historical comments on Yuan are still controversial. The uprising of his image is the result of anti-Manzu movement rather than purposeful image promotion at the early Qing period.
