In 1991, Huanxian county museum excavated two Han tombs that were found during the construction of a house at Liujiawan. These two tombs are rectangular shaft-pits with brick-chambers. Burial goods include ceramics, jades, iron objects, bronze mirrors, and coins. Based on the typology of the bronze mirrors and coins, these burials should date from the Xinmang to the Early Eastern Han period. This discovery provides new and important piece of information for the study of local funeral practice during the Hart period.
