摘要
英语存现句结构特殊,语言学家们对相关问题进行了研究,最终目的就是探究英语存现句的句法生成机制。在确定了存现动词的论元结构之后,运用最简方案理论分析there的格核查机制和存现客体带有宾格特征的证据及存现动词和其后的名词短语一致的原因,尝试在最简方案框架下探索英语存现句的句法生成的统一过程,使英语存现句相关问题的解释更为合理。
English existential sentence（ EES） has special constructions and linguists has studied a lot on relative questions with the ultimate goal to explore the syntactic deviation of it. After confirming the argument structure of existential verbs,by using relative Minimalist Program theory,this paper analyzes the case checking mechanism of there,the evidences of existential theme with accusative feature and the reason for the agreement between existential verbs and the noun phrases after them. This paper tries to find an universal syntactic derivation process of EES under the framework of Minimalist Program to explain more reasonably the relative questions related to EES.
