摘要 抑制元素l-沉默转录因子(repressor element 1-silencing transcription factor,REST)又称为神经元限制性沉默因子(neuron-restrictive silencer factor,NRSF),是神经元特异性表达的负向调控因子,存在广泛的选择性剪切现象。REST及其剪切变体REST4在不同类型肿瘤中发挥重要作用,在胶质瘤、髓母细胞瘤等神经性肿瘤中REST可作为致癌因子,而在结肠癌、肺癌、乳腺癌等上皮性肿瘤中REST作为抑癌因子发挥肿瘤抑制作用。本文就REST及其剪切变体REST4在肿瘤中的研究进行综述。 Repressor element 1-silencing transcription factor or neuron-restrictive silencer factor,is a negative regulatory factor of neural specific genes,and widely exists alternative splicing. The relationship between REST and tumors has been gradually discovered that REST can act as an oncogene in neurogenic tumors such as gliomas,medulloblastomas and as a tumor suppressor in colon cancer,lung cancer, breast cancer and other epithelial tumors. The research progress of REST and splice variant REST4 in tumor was reviewed in this article.
