嵌入式系统一般指非PC系统,不以独立的设备或装置的形式出现,而是将自己隐藏(嵌入)在各种设备和装置的内部,根据主体设备和装置的需要,发挥其运算、处理、存储和控制的作用。WindowsCE.net是微软开发的一个嵌入式操作系统,专门用于手持设备和信息家电。该文探讨了如何在国半x86芯片的平台上定制WindowsCE.net操作系统,以及如何对定制出的操作系统在底层方面进行优化。
Embedded Operation System usually stands for Non-PC System,usually doesn't appear as unattached devices or sets,but hide (embedded) itself in all kinds of other devices and sets.According to the need of main devices and sets,embedded system does its work as computing,processing,storing and controlling.Windows CE.net is the embedded operation system by Microsoft,which is specialized for handsets and information home appliances.This article mainly discusses how to customize Windows CE.net operation system on the platform based Geode x86 chipsets,and how to optimize the customized operation system on low-levels.
