摘要
"数据库原理"作为计算机科学与技术专业的必修课,在学科知识体系中扮演着十分重要的角色。因其理论性强、概念众多,在该课程中推行双语教学难度不小。文章从实证研究的角度,结合多年来从事"数据库原理"课程双语教学的实践经验,从教材体系选用、教学环节设计、教学资源整合几个方面,对如何开展双语教学提出了建议。问卷反馈及学生评课分数等数据表明,多元化的教材体系,探索研究式的教学设计以及全球化的教学资源有利于发挥双语教学的优势,提高教学质量。
As a compulsory course of the major of computer science and technology,Database Principles is of extreme importance in the whole discipline system. However,due to the fact that the course is too theoretical and involves a number of academic concepts,it is very hard for a teacher to adopt the bilingual teaching mode. With an empirical research,combined with the author's many years of teaching experience in this course,this paper puts forward suggestions on how to teach the course bilingually from the aspects of selection of textbooks,design of teaching steps,and integration of teaching resources. The feedback from the questionnaire and students' rating on the author's teaching of the course show that selection of diversified textbooks,adoption of exploratory teaching design,and utilization of teaching resources worldwide are effective means for the bilingual teaching of the course.
