摘要
侠是中国古代社会的特殊群体。古今论侠者虽不乏其人,但至今仍未对其源头有一个较为明确的认识。且已有的种种陈说亦多有值得商榷之处。考之侠字本义及相关典籍记载,可知侠最初当为春秋、战国时期的公族重臣。而对侠与古代各家思想之关系的错误认识,是导致侠之"歧义迭出"的重要原因。
Xia- the Chivalrous men are a special group of people in the ancient Chinese society. Although there is no lack of Xia throughout the Chinese history,a relatively clear understanding of its origin is yet to be achieved. And different versions of explanation are needed to be discussed. According to the literal meaning of＂Xia＂and some relevant books,it is known that Xia was the noble or senior official during the Sring and Autumn Period. And the misinterpretation of the relations between Xia and various schools of thoughts in ancient China is the important cause of the ambiguity and misunderstanding of the meaning of Xia.
