摘要
《切韵》音系是一个综合古今、折衷南北的复杂音系,但它不是人为拼凑出来的。《切韵》音系一方面有其现实的语音基础,另一方面又是萧、颜等八人"参校方俗、考核古今"审定出的正音字典。它不是一时一地之音的描写,而是以存古的读书音即当时"雅言"为基础的。陆法言等人辩证地对待古书注音并折衷南北读音,采取从分不从合的原则来归并韵类,才有了这样一部可以上推古音、下证今音的经典韵书。
Qieyunis a complex phonology system,which compromises historical and synchronic pronunciation and combines north and south pronunciation,although it is not man-made patchwork.On one hand,Qieyun phonology has its real speech basis;on the other hand,it has been carefully inspected by the scholars of Xiao and Yan after consulting various dialects and literature.Qieyunis not a description of a single dialect,but a standard pronunciation dictionary based on ＂Yayan＂.The authors of Qieyun dialectically treated phonetic of ancient books and took the most precise subdivision,which made it a classic work and a useful tool in today＇s diachronic linguistics and dialects study.
