摘要
外宣翻译是以传递中国文化和声音为主要目的的跨文化交际活动。中国特色时政术语反映了我国不同社会发展阶段的方针政策,其外宣翻译的质量关系到对外传播的效果和中国国家形象的建构。从英汉对比的角度深入分析"一带一路"术语规范前后使用的各种英译,同时结合一些热门术语的译法提出:中国特色时政术语很难在英语中找到"对等语",为达到对外交流的双向平衡,突显中国文化的独特魅力,可以异化的翻译策略为主导,用中国英语进行外宣翻译。在翻译方法的选择上,应在保留"中国特色"的同时考虑英语的习惯用法,根据时政术语的类型特点以直译为主,辅以注释和释义,全面展示时政术语的内涵和外延。
International Publicity Translation is a cross-cuhure communication activity for transmitting the culture and voice of China. China-featured Terms in Current Affairs reflects the policies and guidelines of our country' s social development at different stages. Their publicity translation concerns the effect of international communication and china' s national image construction. The article analyzed various ways of English translation of the term "Yi Dai Yi Lu" from the perspective of English-Chinese Comparative Studies, along with many other popular political terms to suggest their general translation approach: In order to retain the Chinese characteristics, China English should be used in translation, mainly guided by foreignization translation strategy. As for translation method, priority should be given to literal translation with complementarities by annotation and interpretation, in conformity with the Chinese features and English usages, so as to fully display the connotation and extension of political terms.
