摘要
蜱类是人和家畜体表的一种吸血性外寄生虫。蜱吸食畜禽血液和向血液中分泌毒素,使家畜贫血、消瘦、生长速度减慢、繁殖率下降,蜱还能传播人和畜禽的一些传染病和寄生虫病,给畜牧业生产造成很大损失和人类的健康带来巨大危害。因此,探讨如何进行灭蜱,控制蜱及防止蜱传播疾病,是值得研究的课题。通常灭蜱的方法有化学灭蜱法、生物灭蜱法和环境灭蜱法等,这些方法有各自的优缺点及应用条件限制,为寻求一种较好的、低残留、适于灭蜱实际应用的生物灭蜱方法,应用鸡进行了灭蜱试验,并取得了较好地试验效果,是对蜱进行生物学防治的有益探索,在应用鸡灭蜱的同时减少了化学杀虫剂灭蜱过程中对环境的污染,节省了鸡的饲料,提高了鸡产品风味。从寄生虫防控的发展方向上,应用鸡进行灭蜱是一种很有推广前景的生物灭蜱方法。
