摘要
本文中利用FPGA控制88E1111芯片实现千兆光纤以太网数据传输。此款PHY芯片具有以太网口与光纤两种物理接口,对于MAC接口具有多种模式的选择,应用FPGA来实现千兆光纤接口的数据传输,控制方式选择了GMII模式,同时此物理芯片还具回环模式,能够方便的测试诊断千兆光纤以太网;芯片的封装也具有三种形式,具有不同的引脚,可根据实际环境选择任一种封装。
In this paper, FPGA is used to control 88E1111 chip which realizes gigabit Ethernet data transmission. The PHY chip has two kinds of physical interface:Ethernet port and optical fiber. There is a variety of modes for the MAC interface. The 88E1111 realizes data transmission of gigabit optical fiber interface on the FPGA. The controlled mode selects GMII mode. At the same time, the physical chip has loopback mode, it can facilitate the test diagnosis gigabit Ethernet. The chip package also has three kinds of situations with different pins. Any package can be selected according to the actual environment.
