摘要
目前,昆明市已与10个南亚东南亚城市正式结为国际友城,数量居全国第一。在国家推进"一带一路"、"孟中印缅经济走廊"、昆明市加快区域性国际中心城市、世界知名旅游城市建设等新形势下,昆明市面向南亚东南亚开放将迎来崭新发展机遇,深化与南亚东南亚国际友城的交流合作意义重大。通过创新工作机制,积极利用国家、云南省与南亚东南亚的合作机制和平台,加快"昆明市国际友好城市工作委员会"的建设与完善;充分发挥青少年和社会组织的作用;加强提升友城学术与文化交流合作水平等举措深化昆明市与南亚东南亚国际友城关系,将会推进昆明市融入"一带一路"、"孟中印缅经济走廊"等对外开放发展战略。这对于云南省、昆明市的对外开放和国际区域合作都具有深远的战略意义。
Up to now Kunming has had ten sister cities in South Asia and Southeast Asia,ranking first in China in this aspect. Against the background of China＇s promoting the＂One Belt,One Road＂strategy,establishing the＂BCIM Economic Corridor＂,and accelerating the pace of building Kunming into a regional central city of international importance and a world- famous tourist city,Kunming＇s opening- up to South Asia and Southeast Asia will win new opportunities,while strengthening its communication and cooperation with its sister cities in South Asia and Southeast Asia has great significance. It is necessary to innovate its working mechanism,make the best use of all the cooperation mechanisms and platforms with South Asia and Southeast Asia,quicken the establishment of Kunming Working Committee for International Sister Cities,bring the potential of the youth and the relevant social organizations to a full play,and strengthen its academic and cultural exchanges with those international sister cities,which will help Kunming involved more both in the implementation of the＂One Belt,One Road＂strategy and in the establishment of the＂BCIM Economic Corridor＂,and have great strategic significance to Yunnan and Kunming＇s opening- up and international cooperation.
