Chengbu Dragon Dance is the traditional live performance art among the Miao people in Chengbu Miao Autonomous County,Hunan Province,in which the dancers shift different parts of a colorful"dragon"to create snake-like twirls and slithers.Underneath the dragon cover,the Mia dancers lift poles of varying lengths to move the head,back and neck as they parade through the streets to the delight of the crowd.
