摘要
杨杨的长篇小说《雕天下》通过对木雕大师高石美这一人物的塑造,对传统文化进行了反思,对不利于艺术孕育的环境进行了批判,对于艺术家充满颓废——唯美色彩的悲剧命运进行了剖析,作品呈现出浓郁的世纪末景观。由于写出了特定环境下人物的复杂性,使高石美这一人物形象在现当代小说艺术家画廊中,占据了重要的一席之地。
By portraying master woodcarver Gao Shimei,Yang Yang's novel Carving the World reflects on the traditional culture,criticizes the environment unfriendly to artistic creation,and analyzes the tragic life of a decadent but beauty- hungry master woodcarver. The novel is a landscape of the world at the end of the last century and an important work about contemporary artists because of its successful depiction of a complicated character under certain circumstances.
