摘要
在中国社会学发展史上,教会大学的社会学曾经起过非常重要的作用。沪江大学于1914年2月首创中国高校第一个社会学系。在其后30余年的发展历程中,沪江大学社会学系大力推行国际化教学,并通过沪东公社等基地强化培养学生的实践能力。在美籍教授葛学溥、韦爱伦,以及国内知名社会学者张春江、雷洁琼等中外社会学学者的先后带领下,努力打造自身在社会学、社会工作领域的学科特色与学术地位。沪江社会学其特色与成就主要有:首创建系之功;践行教学、研究、服务一体化的办学模式;注重运用先进社会调查方法研究中国社会;具有较高的学术成就;我国社会工作的先驱。
The sociology in Ecclesiastical Universities had played a very important role in the history of Chinese sociology. This paper focuses on the achievements of teachers and graduates from the department of sociology, University of Shanghai. The department of sociology was established in February 1914, it was the first one in China. The department was headed by Daniel H. Kulp II, J. Hundley Wiley, Zhang-Chunjiang, Lei-Jieqiong, in succession for more than 30 years. The Yangtzepoo Social Center was the practice base of the University of Shanghai. The department had outstanding academic characteristics and achievements. The mode of running university as an integration of teaching, research and service. Lay emphasis on the advanced social survey. It not only had the great valuable academic achievements, but also pioneered social work in the history of China.
