This paper simply introduces the production process of the H steel plant collecting region, focuses on the application of SIEMENS PCS7 in the collecting region control system, describes the key points of the system hardware configuration and software design. The characteristics of SIEMENS SIMATIC PCS7 control system is summarized with the successful operation of the production line, which provides reference for similar projects.
