Native American writer L(M. Silko's writing is characterized by the per- sistent attention to colonialism, the reassessment of Native American cultural trauma, and the in-depth exploration of landscape therapeutic function in ethnic culture, showing a global vision and giving off strong ethnic flavor. By focusing on Silko's masterpiece Ceremony, this paper traces protagonist Tayo's trauma-healing journey, and reveals the functions of landscape therapy, especially in the treatment of Native Ameri- can cultural trauma. The landscape is a panacea for healing traumatic anti-memory and memory disruption. Thus, reconstructing symbiotic relationship between self and land- scape is an integral part in healing the fundamental variation in Tayo's personality mech- anism and a necessary tool for promoting Native American culture, healing cultural trau- ma and fighting against colonial oppression.
